[GUIDE] 12 Awesome Facebook Marketing Campaigns

About 11 million small businesses are using Facebook these days and have worked hard to develop an active fanbase for their business.

The big problem now is turning all of these hard-earned fans into customers.

Facebook’s terms of service prohibit hosting any kind of contests, discounts, or coupons directly on a Facebook Page, so that means businesses have to get creative.

At Constant Contact, we created Social Campaigns to help small businesses take their Facebook Pages to the next level by giving fans exclusive offers and allowing business owners to track every result of the campaign itself.

Want to see it in action?

We’re running a social campaign all week on our Facebook Page and giving away a free guide showing some examples of small businesses that have used Social Campaigns to not just gain fans, but gain more business, too.

  1. I cannot download this file? Keep getting a Facebook link which is not working… any other way I can get it?

      Hi Jacqueline,

I think the link should work now — try clicking on the image or the “Download our free new guide” link. If that doesn’t work, let me know and I can figure out another way to get it to you!

  5. Two things I don’t understand: 1. how does posting a coupon (or contest or other FB prohibited content) on a social campaigns “reveal” page for a “like” not violate FB rules?
    2. what about customers who have already “liked” the business page–doesn’t it annoy them that they’re not eligible for a goodie because they were too early to “like” a page?

    • Blaise Lucey •

      Hi Patty,

      Thanks for reading!

      1. Facebook’s terms of service state that you can’t directly post coupons or contests on a Facebook Page, you have to do it through a third party app. Social Campaigns is a third party app, so you’re not violating those terms.

      2. Customers who are already fans of the Page can also get whatever is behind the Like-gate, just by clicking the tab with the contest or coupon. In their case, they don’t have to click the “Like” button first, but the rest of the experience is the same.

      Hope that helps!
