Imagine searching for a plumber online and you come across the websites of two potential candidates. All things, including price, are pretty much equal. But one of the plumbers has a content rich website that provides numerous tips and articles that demonstrate his expertise. There’s also a section that answers frequently asked questions. Every page of the website contains a bit of personality and gives you a sense of what it’s going to be like to work with him. There’s even an About page that details the plumber’s history and experience along with a friendly picture of the plumber himself. In the absence of any other information, which plumber do you think you’d most likely want to call? It’s easy to see the plumber that’s added value in the form of content to his site is the frontrunner.
