How much time do you have to spare?

If you’re like most people on the Internet, the answer is probably a resounding “not much.”

The same goes for your potential email subscribers. So, when it comes to growing your email list, you’ll want to make the process as quick and painless as possible. The easier you make it for people to sign up, the easier it is to grow your list.

That’s why we’re proud to announce Constant Contact’s new integration with Formstack.

Now, you can create embeddable sign-up forms that allow people to enter their information right on the webpage they’re visiting, without going to a different page to sign up.

With this new integration, you can also customize the fields on your sign-up form and create different forms for different email lists.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Go to “Grow My Contacts” in your Constant Contact dashboard.

Once you’re under this menu, you’ll see the button to create a form through Formstack.

2. Grant access.

To integrate Formstack into your Constant Contact account, you’ll have to grant access to the application.

3. Create your custom confirmation message and select the list to add contacts.

The confirmation message is what contacts will see once they’ve signed up for the list.

4. Customize your form.

There are a lot of different fields you can choose from—just remember not to ask for too much information or you risk scaring subscribers away.

5. Create a Formstack account and copy the embed code.

To finish your form, you’ll have to provide your email address and phone number to create a Formstack account. After that, just copy the code and you’ll be good to go!

6. Embed.

Paste the code wherever you edit HTML on your website, then just click publish, and you’re all set.
Note: These forms won’t automatically work on websites hosted by WordPress.com. If you’re unsure of how to embed the HTML on your website, be sure to ask whoever manages the site itself.
